In Brief

The ProForm Pro C10U has been discontinued from active production and is no longer available on the ProForm website. However, it’s still available online at retailers like Amazon.com and others, as well as in the homes of friends looking to deal. I’ve ridden on this bike myself and love it. If you’re looking for a bargain, this might be it. Brought into the ProForm lineup back in 2022, the model stands upright and comes with a 10″ high-definition screen. Purchase will get you a complimentary 30-day trial of the iFit app, which typically costs $39 per month for the family plan. As a discontinued model, I’m seeing prices dance about the $600 level, which is pretty close to where it sold when produced.

With an inertia-enhanced flywheel and 25 levels of silent magnetic resistance, the bike features adjustable pedals and straps. Measuring 21.2″ x 34.5″ x 58″ the bike also sports neat transport wheels and moves easily about a room. Not as techy or flashy as the newer models coming out, if you’re looking for a good used model, or perhaps one the retailers are looking to move out of stock, the ProForm C10U might be for you.

The Great

  • Upright Frame: If knees or other joints are an issue, this design could be a help. Granted, this bike is an upright model, which means it does afford a little more step-up than its peers, but comfort is a plus with the ProForm Pro C10U.
  • Compact Size: At 21.2″ x 34.5″ x 58″, the C10U is equipped with transport wheels and moves easily about a room.
  • 10″ HD Smart Touchscreen: This is a nice size screen for a small bike like this and can bring iFit workouts to life without getting in the way like bigger models.
  • Bluetooth-ready: With dual 2″ Bluetooth speakers, the bike is headphone-compatible.
  • iFit Ready: The C10U comes with a 30-day membership plan which can be renewed at their discretion. iFit Family memberships typically cost $39 per month and bring live training classes, simulated outdoor training with Google Maps, automated data logging, and help with menu.
  • 25 Resistance Levels: The C10U features 25 digitally controlled Silent Magnetic Resistance settings powered by an inertia-enhanced flywheel.
  • Extra-Wide Pedals: The foot pedals are extra-wide for comfort and have adjustable straps for stability.
  • Self-Adjusting Fan: The bike comes equipped with a fan for user comfort.
  • Water Bottle Holder: A water bottle holder is integrated with the bike frame.
  • Transport Wheels: Transport wheels are mounted to the frame so you can easily move the bike after workouts.
  • High Capacity: The C10U has a maximum user weight capacity of 325 pounds.
  • Good Warranty: The home warranty is good enough for the price point. It includes 10 years of coverage for the frame, 2 years for parts, and 1 year for labor.

The Not-So-Great

  • No built-in programs: The C10U comes iFit-ready and equipped with a 30-day subscription, but nothing pre-loaded. The bike can be used without the iFit program but the screen won’t work with other apps.
  • Discontinued Model: As a discontinued model, the ProForm Pro C10U might be tough to service. Be sure to check the status of the warranty when purchasing.

Introducing the ProForm Pro C10U Exercise Bike

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite bikes to just jump on and ride. It’s comfortable and easy to use. Whether or not you like the iFit program, you’ll be able to get a solid workout on this. Consider that the bike’s 10″ screen loses value quickly without the program, but as small and mobile as this unit is, you can set it in front of a television screen, or utilize the Bluetooth features to bring your own jams.

ProForm Pro C10U iFit-enabled

Given that you’re looking at a discontinued model, I have to assume you’re looking for a bargain and aren’t that interested in bells and whistles. That said, if you do opt into the iFit program, you’ll have automatic trainer control as well as live and on-demand workouts all over the world. Automatic trainer control means the bike can auto-adjust in terms of resistance in accordance with the workout. This takes a lot of the thinking out of the routine and lets your legs do all the work.

And with 25 levels of silent magnetic resistance, there’s little chance you’ll outgrow this bike. I have yet to fail to break a sweat when using a magnetic resistance-style bike, and 25 levels are more than enough to get the job done.

Who Should Use The ProForm Pro C10U?

This is a great upright bike for anyone seeking a workout. While not a spin bike per se, I like these models for longer rides. The seat is much more comfortable than a more narrow spin bike, and yet you’re set up high enough to protect your knees. The fact that you can access iFit is also a big plus.

Bottom Line

For just $600, customers get a solid indoor bike with benefits. The only real downside I see is that as a discontinued bike replacement parts might be hard to source. You’ll also want to double-check the warranty when purchasing.
